John McCain (dumbass) AZ has his "Depends" in a bunch over comments made by Senator Ted Cruz during a CPAC speech.
During his speech to the CPAC crowd on Thursday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) facetiously recalled “Presidents” Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney to make a point about how Republicans need to “stand for principle” in order to win big elections.
Olde Jonny Boy hiked up his pants and...
“He can say what he wants to about me and he can say anything he wants to about Mitt,” McCain said, “but when he throws Bob Dole in there, I wonder if he thinks that Bob Dole stood for principle on that hilltop in Italy, when he was so gravely wounded and left part of his body there fighting for our country?”
Query: WTH does Bob Doles war record have to do with the topic? John McCain playing the "Veteran's Card is starting to sound like Rebrun Al & Jessie playing the "Race Card".
Let's be clear, I supported Bob Dole. However, he sold his sole to get that nomination and run for the Presidency. The clown that ran was a packaged sellout, it was not Bob Dole. I remember he appeared on the Dave Letterman show after his "unexpected" loss. He was brilliant. All of my friends said where was this guy during the campaign? Indeed, they are now saying similar about Mitt. (Note: Nobody has said anything positive aboot Jonny's run)
That is my take on what Ted Cruz was saying. Absolutely nothing to do with his service during WWII.
At least Bob Dole knew when it was time to quit. Take the cue Senator, it is time to retire Jonny Boy*....you are a doddering old fool.....
* Thank you for your service, please go away.
