SOLO!

Son of a Son of a Bush Pilot.....

This morning luck smiled upon me.  I had to take the car in for servicing.  Mrs. Rumbear picked me up around 9:15 AM. 

Now, the repair shop is near Montgomery Field (MYF). SNO had a flight lesson from 9-11 AM.  He has been diligent in his efforts and his first solo flight was due. It dawned in my bear brain that we might catch a glimpse of him flying.  I had Mrs. Rumbear drive over to the General Terminal....lo & behold....Cessna 24671 landed right in front of us.  Tuned in the tower frequencies on the Android and watched 3 full stop landings.

Awesome! SNO is a pilot. Still much to learn, but he is on his way.
