Ironical 

To speed up the repair/replacement/fixing of the areas devastated by rainstorm "Sandy" the Government is busy getting rid of, uh, ummm, Government.  Jones Act has been waived. Code issues suspended.

Teachable Moment:  Isn't it ironic that when we have a genuine disaster the best way to deal with it is to get Government and it's needless regulations out of the way.
