WTH!???
CANTON, Mich. (WJBK) - At first glance, they may look scary and dangerous, but members of the Sikh faith who carry religious swords called Kirpan say they are not weapons at all.
"It's a religious symbol. It just reminds you for your spirituality. It's a fight against your internal evils," said Sikh community leader Tejkiran Singh.
The small sabers worn under people's clothing are in the middle of a controversy in Canton where a fourth grader who follows the religion and its customs brought one to Bentley Elementary SchoolGot that? 4th GRADER at an elementary school. Recall the moonbats have previously ousted kids for GI Joe plastic 2 inch guns, paring knives, and using a finger as a gun. Now this kid gets to carry a blade because it's part of his religion? Holy Jumpin....the blogprof has more. Sheesh.
I need to start a religion. Being an ordained bear (Universal Life Church 06/25/01) I think I have the credentials. Brothers & Sisters the Cowboy religion will require it's followers to wear a 45 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver to enhance their spirituality and provide inner peace. It shall be proudly worn on the outside of their clothing, preferably in a holster, to show the world one's pride in this religion.
