USA 36, Mighty Mary, the Mermaid. What ever happened to her? Many America's Cup boat suffer a ignominious end with a trip to the scrap yard. Some are refurbished an used as site seeing boats. The Mermaid?....she is outstanding in a field all by herself. Literally.

Since 2002 the famous hull painted by artist Roy Lichtenstein has been on display at the Storm King Art Center in upstate New York.
