Yeah...They Loved Him.

From the Times of India here's the scoop on Barry Sotero's (hey, that's what he went by when in situ) visit to his old country.

The governments central and state may say what they want, but Obama's visit has left a bitter aftertaste in the mouth of the Mumbaikar who is accustomed to sweetness around this time of the year because of the sacrifices the city had to make over Diwali to accommodate this guest.

Now, being a handsome bear about town I knew what a Diwali was. However, for those of you in Rio Linda, I provide some insight:

Diwali,[1] popularly known as the festival of lights, is an important five-day festival in Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism, occurring between mid-October and mid-November. For Hindus, Diwali is the most important festival of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes.

So our boy Barry plans his visit, books 800 rooms in the best hotels and lands with his entourage in the middle of a national holiday. Surely they loved him....that what the MSM's tell us. Maybe the Times of India should read them. Party on Barry......
