Things That Make Ya Go ...

Stories that we here at the Chronicles have been aware of for sometime are beginning to percolate about the Anointed One, ObamaLamaDingDong. Well we are coming down to the wire and I guess that's to be expected. However, if the MSM had vetted the topics months ago the issues would be moot now, right? For instance:

OBama's Birth Certificate-I have stayed away from this subject because it lends itself to conspiracy theories and who is a forgery expert. He said, she said....blah, blah, blah. Nevertheless, here we are. 30 days out from electing one of two guys to be President and one has yet to produced a birth certificate! Indeed, a Democrat has filed suit to have the document produced. Surprisingly, the Democratic National Party has filed motions to have the case dismissed. I scratch my olde Rumbear noggin and ask myself "Why?". Why not just produce the damn document? Makes me go hmmmmmmm?

Snatched!-This morning we learn that Jerome Corsi, a reporter for the World Net Daily, was suddenly detained as he walked in to an airport for a press conference in Nairobi.

A hotel worker in Nairobi told Reuters Corsi was picked up as soon as he walked into the hotel for the scheduled press conference: "He was walking in and then some immigration officers who were following him snatched him. It happened so fast, they just vanished with him."

Who is Corsi. well he's the guy that wrote a book critical of the Anointed One called "The Obama Nation". He was in Kenya documenting the connections between the thug ruler, Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Mr. I Can't Find My Birth Certificate.

Obama has a long history of connections in Kenya, where his father worked as a government economist. Corsi documented this history in his book and went to Kenya to find answers to lingering questions – particularly about the links between the presidential candidate and Kenya Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Corsi was to report Odinga's 2007 presidential campaign strategy called for exploiting anti-Kikuyu tribal sentiments, claiming victory and charging voter fraud even if the campaign knew the election had been legitimately lost. Odinga, Corsi said, also was willing to fan the flames of ethnic tribal tensions and use violence as a last resort by calling for mass action that led to the destruction of properties, injuries, loss of life and the displacement of over 500,000 Kenyans. The purpose was to compel the Electoral Commission of Kenya to declare him the winner or enable him to declare himself the winner by force.

Now, I am sure you are also aware that the Anointed is also rumored to have been born in Kenya. Oh yeah, there are documents. So we have Jerome Corsi cooling his heels in Nairobi as a "guest" of the state for no apparent reason.

Weather Underground- Have you heard that one of the Anointed One's biggest supporter's used to bomb police stations and kill folks like you and me because he had a "cause". That would be Bill Ayers. Today he says he is proud of his youth and would not change it. The Anointed one says he lived on the same block as Ayers and they had lunch together, once in 1995.

What's the big deal, Rumbear? Well, there is this....this.....this.....this....and this.... that seem to be a tad contradictory on this point.

Jeremiah Wright- Where is the old race baiting hate monger of a Reverend that the Anointed one worshipped with for 20 years ....and did no know he was a race baiting, hate monger?

YOUTube- You have all witnessed the posting and deleting of the Burning Down The House video that has been documented here at the Chronicles and around the web. Now it is happening again with a skit from last weeks Saturday Night Live that skewered...Democrats for the "Economic Crisis"

The presidential campaign has been good for "Saturday Night Live" -- and for Hulu.com. In a few short weeks, the first clip of Tina Fey impersonating Gov. Sarah Palin has become the site's most-viewed of all time. But it appears NBC.com and Hulu.com may have run into some trouble with the latest SNL political send-up.

A clip poking fun at the bailout, and specifically, at former Golden West Financial Group co-chiefs Herb and Marion Sandler, has been taken down from NBC.com and Hulu.com sometime on Monday, leaving many speculating as to why. A good guess: The clip, a fake C-SPAN news report, identifies the Sandlers, who sold their Golden West Financial S&L to Wachovia in 2006 as "People who should be shot" in a graphic.

Ahhh, the Sandlers popping up yet again....connected to George Soros..... connected to ACORN...

Tony Rezko- Yeah that guy who was convicted last month.

But Tony (Antoin) Rezko is simply another middle-aged, bald, Chicago developer who was involved in an influence peddling and kick-back scheme that was connected to a number of politicians, a couple of pension funds, an Iraqi businessman (prepared to upfront millions for bail) and, oh yes, Senator Barack Obama. A jury hit Tony with a conviction on sixteen felony counts out of twenty four in the indictment.

Well, he's supposed to be sentenced just days before the November 4th election. But he's delayed his sentencing...that means he's talking, singing, turning states evidence. Probably won't hit before the election.

Makes me go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

and last but certainly not least.....

Four years ago at this point some polls had Kerry over Bush by 2-3 points.
