I was a pondering….
Presently, we have consensus on the issue of GlowBall Warming and that is touted as the be all and end all of the matter. Case closed, debates over anyone who disagrees, like moi, is a denier, tool of the oil industry or just a general ingrate. Nevertheless, “consensus” is a good thing, we must stop it! (Well, YOU, not me, I have Carbon Offsets, see below)
So I am watching the subpoenas flying towards Secretary of State, Condileeza Rice as she is called to the House to testify, for the umpteenth time, on why we (i.e. Bush) went to war in Iraq. Notwithstanding that Congress said it was okay, (21 different ways) when looking back a few years clearly the entire WORLD was convinced, rightly or wrongly, that Saddamn had “weapons of mass destruction” and was a threat to the world. Again, a consensus of opinion, we must stop it!
Now we have the press, courtesy of Bill Moyers beating itself up for not doing more to get the “truth” on going to war. The Main Stream Media asks rhetorically, Why did we not question the consensus opinion?

So, I posit this, will we be seeing the same pitch in a few years when the MSM's discover the truth of Glowball Warming?
Perhaps questioning consensus is a good thing?
Again, just asking…..
