On The Threshold of Adventure.....

Life....

Bit of a stumble going in to the New Year.  I got the news that my Brother in Law had passed.  He had been battling cancer for some years and the war came to an end on the 31st.  I have some good memories of Chester Gibbons and will be reflecting upon those over the next few days.  May the good Lord take care of him and forever keep him safe.  

I post the photo here as it is from my Dad's birthday celebration in 1966.  That's me on the left, Chester, Sulo, and Paul. While looking at this photo it dawned on me that I am the only one left. I am much to young to feel this damn old.....

Rumbear 1 is set to go.  Wheels up manana, eastbound at O dark thirty. Blogging will be light......
