So, I lift my head up from trying to capture the whirlwind of these past days and a I spy a note wafting by my visonoccullar zone.  Need a break. Headed for Kauai. Thus, the former East Coast Roving Editor, now West Coast Roving Contributor, announced he had discovered the Hawaiian Islands.

I have selflessly committed to a course over the next days to exploring various beaches and sundry locales in Hawaii. This sacrifice and courage will no doubt provide insight into native traditions and various umbrella drink recipes. He stated just prior to leaving for the airport...."Hey, somebodies gotta do it!"

Red Wings vs Avalanche

Great Game last night. Wings won 3-1....but that was because Avs Coach, Patty Wah pulled the goalie with 3:30 left in the third.  Tight game, until that happened. 

I had seats on the glass behind the Red Wings bench. Don't ask how. ;-) 

Even got my fat Rumbear butt on TV.  My wife sent me a screen shot of the TV at home. The family got to see the old Rumbear for the first time in three weeks!

A good respite from the grind of trial.
