Oh, The Humanity..

So this team, well, group of liberal scientists, heads on up to the Canadian Artic and witnesses first hand the effects of GlowBall Warming. They see the earth evolving, as it has for millions of years, forming mountains, creating earthen dams that in turn create lakes. New terrain is exposed providing fertile grounds to study mother earth. it's a beautiful thing, for some.

But alas, they are liberals...and here is how they report what they saw.

From their camp on Melville Island last July, where they recorded air temperatures over 20ºC (in an area with July temperatures that average 5ºC), the team watched in amazement as water from melting permafrost a meter below ground lubricated the topsoil, causing it to slide down slopes, clearing everything in its path and thrusting up ridges at the valley bottom "that piled up like a rug," says Dr. Lamoureux, an expert in hydro-climatic variability and landscape processes. "The landscape was being torn to pieces, literally before our eyes. A major river was dammed by a slide along a 200-metre length of the channel. River flow will be changed for years, if not decades to come."

They watched in "amazement" as landscape was "torn to pieces" while a river dammed itself so that the flow will be "changes for years, if not decades". Yeah, so what's your point? Have you ever studied how the Rockies were created. Heard of this thing called the "Continental Divide"? Seen a volcano erupt? Watched the swollen Mississippi River change it's course by miles? You guys are scientists...how would you report these events?

Here's my take...

Continental Divide- Scientists watched in amazement as two plates in the North American continent continued to savagely collide together causing wholesale chaos. An entire continent is being divided by this senseless interaction. Families are being torn to pieces and will be forced to scale peaks that are rocketing skyward just to stay in touch. These changes will remain for years, if not decades. We must do something! This purple mountain majesty must be stopped. Pay more taxes, surely that will solve the problem.

Oh, the humanity,....pulllease.
