Why, Is THIS News?

Iraq surge a failure, top Democrats tell Bush The sorry excuse we have for a Majority Leader, Hairy Reed, has been saying the same thing since he agreed to allow the surge to occur. Now, in the week that we will finally have the troops deployed to move on this front, his commentary is .....news. What's up with that?

My sense is that the surge is working and ole Hairy is trying to dumb down the positive effect. Then again, what do I know, I'm just a Bear.
