There's A Drought! 

That's right fellow citizens of the Republic of Californiastan, Comrade Brown took to the mega phone today and "officially" declared a drought.  Like the swallows returning to Capistrano, Guvner Moonbeam mounted the soapbox this fine Winter day to opine that this is the "driest year on record". (Ed Note: Date is January 17, 2014) Based upon complicated calculations that us rubes would never comprehend, the Guvner made the gutsy call.  

What happens now?  Federal money, of course.  Ka Ching!

Money that will be used to, once again, edumacate us rubes aboot the peril of showering alone, watering the flora & fauna, washing your car...or dog, turning off the water when you brush your teeth, low flush turlets, (rest in peace Archie Bunker) etc, etc, etc.....

Why they even have pictures from space!  These "space" fotos document the low levels of the states reservoirs. Here is a clue boys & girls....the Gubbermint drains the reservoirs in the Fall to allow for the spring run off, which has not begun yet BECAUSE IT IS JANUARY 17th! 

Moreover, the Central Valley, depicted in the "space" fotos, has been allowed to go fallow because a Judge decided to protect the Delta floating whatever over operating pumps for irrigation. Yes, evidence of the result of Libtard logic (cause and effect) actually damaging the environment and causing 30-40% unemployment in Fresno.... is now evidence of DROUGHT! for Guvner Moonbeam. Never let a crisis go unused....

"We ought to be ready for a long, continued, persistent effort to restrain our water use," Brown said, adding that conservation efforts would be "voluntary."
