Wings Win!!

Fantastic overtime victory at the Honda Ponda.  The lovely & gracious Mrs. Rumbear and your humble scribe were in the house. Met up with an olde friend for dinner before the game.  98 degrees outside, so we headed to the rink....cool. Series tied 1-1 and we head back to The Joe.

I could babble on for a while, so I'll just post some Playoff Game Ruminations:

Pre Game Cleary did something really cool. Gave a kid a puck created a Wing for life. Posted up a photo of the little dude.   

 
DuhUcks….Housewives of Orange County on skates…..bitch, bitch, bitch....

Seat right next to the Zamboni entrance.

Surrounded by hostile DuhUck fans…..nicely dressed though.

I hate Corey Perry. 

Ice was a mess…..lots of water after the Zamboni run. 98 degrees when I walked in at 6:00 pm.

Datsuyk was mauled non stop.

Same with Abdelkader….taking runs at him all night long.

3rd & 4th lines looked good….when used.

Del Keyser is a keeper…..write the check.

Unibomber….he lumbers along, looking, waiting, and just when you think “Why is he…?” he skates to the corner and does unmentionable things…gets the puck, and leaves one pissed off DuhUck in his wake. Smooooth…...

Pond…then the battery died.

Getslapped thrown outta the face off circle...again 

3rd period Wings just ran outta gas…scrambling around

Perry hiked up his big girl panties, shot the puck and…..missed.
 
Teemu looks like an angry bird. The useless little red one…..

65 got schooled on the Getslapped goal. You could sense it about to happen.

Tied up…..The. Place. Erupted. 

4th period started around 1:00 AM EST….Thanks Gary. Ass.

End of game intermission the DuhUck fans were all bubbly….like a puppy that found it’s ...uh, genitals.

BOOM!  Nike wins it!  I cheered! Those around me did their best DuhUck scowl.  Making friends and influencing people in Section 218.  You're welcome

and most important….the wife enjoyed the game.
