Yes indeed....found my ring! Back in the day when Mrs. Rumbear, DDS, was in school she had some "extra" gold. Used that to create a gold "nugget" style ring. Hand carved, lost wax cast, one of a kind. I wore it for a few years and then it got small...or maybe, I got large(er). It could not be re-sized as it is pure gold. In any event it became more of a pinky ring.
I don't wear pinky rings.
Tucked away it was. Then a month or so back I happened to try it on a ....wow, it fit. Seems losing weight from the Disease has an up side. Permission was given to wear it as my wedding band. Cool!
Last Saturday, I lost it. I was working on the Whaler and a seal blew on the engine lift. Covered in hydraulic fluid I was. I took the ring off and put it in one of those places you won't forget......and then, did.
Somewhat distraught all week. Bonehead move. Today....it re appeared. Back on my hand where it belongs. Happier than a bird with a french fry!!
Let the rum flow......
