Since my little rant here it seems that the Jason Whitlock story has, uh, umm, snowballed. Bob Costas, the nimrod announcer for some football show took his half time slot and quoted the misinformed Mr. Whitlock. Since then ole Bob has been doing the two step trying to parse his comments into why this guy should have a gun but THAT guy shouldn't and and and certainly not that TYPE of gun.
Surprised?
No. Bob Costas is a pretty boy announcer who is trying to use his limited brain powers to articulate a message that is not based in fact. He relies on comments from Jason Whitlock, a hack who is similarly unprepared to gather the truth in his job as a ...reporter. So when their position is revealed to be the steaming pile of BS that it is, they get defensive. Now the gun toting hicks are attacked for clinging to their guns. Whitlock refuses to let a tragedy go to waste and has doubled down with his spiteful comments saying that the National Rifle Association is the new KKK. He also contends that those who believe in the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms are....wait for it....RACIST! Yet, he is the tolerant one.
Jason Whitlock has revealed himself to be a racist, bigoted, uneducated moron. Bob Costas is a lacky parroting what passes for deep thought in his closed mind. (Nice hair though.)
