Gun Free Zone 

I was surfing, browsing, perusing, my way through my second cuppa and came across an article over at "Home on the Range".  It is actually quite thoughtful in presenting a position on the whole Gun Free Zone issue.


Gun free. Think about it. Think about some famous gun free places.

Columbine High School.
New York City pizza shop.
Pearl Mississippi High School.
Luby's Cafeteria.
The Amish school in Pennsylvania.
We can now add the horror that was an outing for friends and families in Aurora, Colorado to the list.  And the list goes on and on, especially if you add in the mass murders in other  "gun free" countries.

Of course, he left out several places of note.  How about the cafeteria at Fort Hood?  The theater in Aurora? Safety is an issue.  Just not yours. We are always worried about that other guy that might be hurt if you dare to stand up to an aggressor. You know, that person you don't know, and may never know if you can't stand up when you need to......
